Please forward any question you have about the web site to LDYSL.com and we will post your question and the answer on this Board. Any questions not related to the use and operation of the web site will not be posted. All given advise will assume that you are now on the LDYSL web site home page. One of the first instructions will ask you to click on one of the rectangles that run across the screen about a third of the way down the screen. One of the second instructions will normally refer to the blue space that runs down the left hand side of the screen.

(1Q) What must I do to be able to start using the functions of the web site as a coach or manager?

(1A) Anyone associated with a team who will be completing game sheets of entering game scores must activate themselves onto the web site. All LDYSL Club Contacts have been provided the activation code.  Click on the "My Team" box, then click on the word "Activate" in the blue area. Fill in the activation code and then follow the instructions completing the required areas.

(2Q) How do I fill in the names of my players?

(2A) Click on "My Team" and then click on "Add to Squad". Fill in the name, Date of Birth and OSA Number. I suggest trying a couple of players first and see which way the system likes you to enter the date of birth. Remember the date order that is accepted and complete the balance of the players. In the event you do not have the OSA #s, please leave blank.

(3Q) What if I need to correct an error made in the spelling of a name or I now have the OSA #'s.

(3A) Click on "My Team" and then click on "Modify Squad". Select the player you wish to modify and then make the appropriate change or adding of the OSA #. Then click on submit.

(4Q) How do I complete a game sheet?

(4A) Click on "My Team" and then click on "Game Sheets". Select the game you want to print off. Then click on "Next". Click the box in front of the players name who will be playing in that game. You can click on "Check All" at the bottom of the page to select them all. Then click on next and the screen will change to the "Game Create Screen". Click on the Hyperlink "Create Game Sheet" and the game sheet will appear. For Indoor you print off two pages on regular 8 x 11 paper. For Outdoor you print off three pages using the supplied NCR paper.

(5Q) How do I report a game score?

(5A) Click on "My Team" and then click on "Game Report". Select the game that you want to report the score for. If you are the first team to enter the score if will also ask you to select what happened with the game. Played - Not Played
Fill in the score and if you team received any yellow or red cards.
Then click on next, if you are the second team to enter the score you will also have to click on the button indicating weather you agree or disagree with the score.
Click on Next.
If the next screen is correct, click on "Next" and then "Submit".
Note: if you have made an error - continue to move forward - do not use the back button to make a change. This will then enter the information twice and create an issue with the standings.
You can modify a goal scorer or a shutout after the entries have been made.
