Guideline regarding content of Official Club/Team Internet Websites

The Internet is a valuable tool for clubs and teams to promote themselves and to communicate with their audiences regarding activities. However, when used inappropriately, the Internet can do more harm than good. With the rise in use of web sites and other Internet resources devoted to clubs and teams, LDYSL would like to make clear its position on this issue.

All communications on a website that presents itself, or attempts to present itself as an official website of a club or team should be used only to communicate about the club/team itself. Any use of an official club or team website where mention, directly or indirectly, of any person related to any other team or club will be considered a violation of the LDYSL fair play code, and may be subject to action under the LDYSL rules and regulations.
